In terms if material itself, afterwards process and absorbent fluid products, this super absorbent water material is proved to be very excellent. Thus, the application area is widely expanded and the market future becomes broader. Its special usage will be apparent if mix fiber-like super absorbent water material with other fibers. And it will be easy to make absorbent fluid products through yarning, weaving and non-weaving. Super Absorbent Water Fiber is blended with polypropylene fiber, polyester, nylon and viscose fiber, meshed by combing, shaped in pieces by the way of damping ( high-absorbent water paper), and then made as surface non-woven fabric ,wrapped and worsted yarn by heated conglutinate, sting and spin as an ended usage. The physical and mechanical capabilities, absorbent water capability, seal capability ( used in cables other sealing usage) , air-permeable capability( used in fluid) of end products can be adjusted through controlling proportion of super absorbent water fiber and other blended fibers. Though Super Absorbent Water Fiber is much more expensive than absorbent water powder (the unit price of absorbent water powder is $1.98/kilo), its total production cost will be decreased in terms of finished products, because the core weight will be decreased by using integrative making method, simplified equipment and improved production efficiency and less consumption of super absorbent water material. In addition, the products’ structure will be simplified, for example, remove shift layer). Moreover, super absorbent water fiber is also acknowledged by the advantage like fast absorbent speed, soft; thin, hard to fall off, etc. Due to the increase of price and sales, this product will be highly welcomed by consumers, which will bring more profits. In terms of domestic market development future, in the field of waterproof packing material used in optical cable and electric cable, the production ability of optical cable in 2001 is 4400000 kilometers, and the import quantity of optical cable is 4200000 kilometers in the same year. The consumption quantity is totally 8600000 kilometers. As the further development and popularization of information industry, the consumption quantity of optical cable will have an expanded development future. If we use 300kgs super water absorbent fiber in per kilometer optical cable, 1320 tons super water absorbent fiber will be used in 4400000 kilometers optical cables. With the continuous increase use of optical cable and prompt improving of production ability for domestic optical cables, the consumption quantity of Super Absorbent Water Fiber will be 3096 tons/year. And the consumption quantity of Super Absorbent Water Fiber used in waterproof packing material will be 4096 tons/year after several years. In the aspect of packing material, it’s reported that ZhongFang blended fiber has applied non-woven fabric used Super Absorbent Water Fiber into absorbent fluid material of food package after Oasis” Super Absorbent Water Fiber acquired accreditation by American FDA. In 1999. The price of this kind of non-woven fabric is 93000 RMB/ton (30% Super Absorbent Water Fiber). The absorbent material of this fabric can not only absorb every dip, but also keep all frozen foods fresh. The annual sales volume of this product in food packing area is 400 tons. The recent requirement will reach 2000 tons/year, with the expectation to reach the market scale of 20 billion yen. Since we are a powerful economically country, the market will have a bright future.
